CHRISMA is the Greek word in the Bible for anointing, smearing, unction an endowment, where we get the word charisma and charismatic. Many in the Church carry this Chrisma, anointing and have a special endowment to function in their gift and calling in the church today. 1John 2:27 (NKJV) But the anointing (CHRISMA) which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need anyone teach you; but as the same anointing (CHRISMA) teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
